Carat weight is used exclusively to calculate diamond weight, and carat weight alone cannot accurately reflect the visual size of a diamond.
We recommend considering carat weight along with two other characteristics: the diamond’s overall size and cut grade.
Diamond Color: H
For the pure watcher, looking for a D-F grade colorless diamond without any detectable color. As for diamonds with good value that are few or colorless to the naked eye, look for colorless diamonds graded G-I.
Clarity: SI2
SI1-SI2: Slight flaws. Inclusions are visible under 10X magnification. Best value if there is no blemish to the naked eye. SI2 inclusions may be detected by the keen eye.
Cut surface: very good
The price is lower than that of an excellent cut diamond, but it is still a beautiful diamond for budget-conscious customers.
Cut grades are used to measure the refractive performance of a diamond. When a diamond is cut in the right proportions, light reflects off the top of the diamond. If the diamond is cut too shallow, the light will slip through the bottom; if it is cut too deep, it will bleed through the sides.
